Nursery
Nursery is provided for all services for newborn up to 2 years-old. We are located in room 101. Please label all bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, bags, and loose belongings.
Illness: In order to protect all children, please do not bring a child who appears ill. If your child becomes ill while in the nursery, you will be notified. Some symptoms that should be kept out of the nursery are: fever, loose coughs, persistent runny nose and known viruses.
Toddlers
Toddlers for 2 and 3-year-olds during the a.m. service, we are located next to the nursery in room 102. When service is over, we ask that parents promptly pick up their children. Children will not be permitted to leave without their parent. Our nursery and toddler rooms are staffed by volunteer parents. Toddlers love to have their moms and dads worship with them in their class. Parents are encouraged tovolunteer.
Let's Build a Village, Children's Church
Our vision for our young children is to show the love of God. What a wonderful ministry! God is teaching us how to live, love and give. We relate all of our everyday living according to God and His plan for our lives.
Our prayer for each child is that one day when our children are grown that they not only know about God but they know Him personally. May they also become leaders in winning others to Him. Heaven is a real place!!
Wednesday Children's Program
Wednesday Children's program is designed for children ages 4-6th grade. Our music is directed by our own Terra Gorrell, and what a dynamic praise and worship we are experiencing! We have 45 leaders working with our kids weekly. We have Bible stories, drama, crafts, organized games and prepared snacks. We have very dedicated drivers for our van teams. Seven small groups close out our evening program, with a very personal touch and prayer with their leaders. We give away at least 4 gifts each week, to show the children how much God loves them.
We have just purchased a helium tank for birthday balloons. A birthday is always a reason to celebrate. We are asking God daily to "draw" the children to this place of worship, and make it the highlight of their week. The place where they know they are loved! We will always be needing more help in this growing ministry.
The 4 gifts we give away each Wednesday are randomly given to our children to show they are special and loved. These are not prizes based on performance. Let's live each day in anticipation of God's gifts to us.
